Most of our frequently asked questions are answered below.
We look forward to welcoming you from 2pm onwards on your date of arrival. If you are going to be later (or much earlier), to help us anticipate your arrival an estimated time of arrival is always greatly appreciated. We will bid you a farewell with a “hope to welcome you back again” on the morning of your departure date, as late as 11am.
We have room for 5 cars in the car park at the front of the building. However, there is plenty of free ‘on street’ parking directly outside.
We have free unlimited wireless broadband throughout the building, with strong signals in all rooms.
Served usually between 8.30 am – 10.00 am ( times may vary during quieter periods but advised on arrival). We have a range of cereals, fruit, breads and jams to choose from as well as the staple cooked breakfast options. We are happy to accommodate special dietary requirements but please advise prior to arrival.
We leave this up to you with our fully licensed ‘Honesty Bar’, in the lounge area. This is well stocked with popular beverages and mixers. A corkage fee may be applied if you bring your own drinks to cover glasses & cleaning.
The contemporary furniture and ornate wooden fireplace offers a great space for relaxing. There is a 42” Plasma adorning the wall, hooked up to all Sky HD Channels for guest usage.
To accompany each rooms large TVs we have an up-to-date film library (DVDs and Blu Rays) for guests to use freely. PlayStations are available on request.
The Escape is a strictly no smoking hotel.
The hotels unsuitable for children below the age of 10 as we do not have any family / interconnecting rooms. Child would have to take their own room.
No pets are allowed at The Escape.
There are no bedrooms at ground floor level. All bedrooms are at first & second storey level. There is no lift available. For more access questions, please read our access statement page.
We offer the hire of the entire hotel for exclusive house parties (may need to book well in advance). We have room for small business meetings.
